The Friends of the National Bison Range
The
Friends of the National Bison Range is
an independent
membership-based volunteer organization dedicated to the
preservation and enhancement of the National Bison Range
and its associated satellite refuges, which are located in
western Montana. We provide a direct way for people to
"adopt a refuge" and become actively involved in supporting
this national treasure.
The
core principles of our
group include: continued management of the National Bison
Range as a premier wildlife refuge, with the current
numbers of bison and staffing levels; and continued and
increasing involvement of the Confederated Salish and
Kootenai Tribes in the management of the National Bison
Range.
